The 2-Hour “Tool Box” Talks course is designed to help construction supervisors, foremen, and safety coordinators deliver effective, engaging, and compliant safety talks on the jobsite. These brief safety meetings are a critical component of workplace safety programs, providing timely reminders, hazard awareness, and updates on site-specific conditions.
Participants will learn how to prepare relevant safety topics, encourage worker participation, and document attendance in compliance with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) and OSHA requirements. The course covers best practices for communication, topic selection, and integrating “Tool Box” talks into a larger safety culture.
This course counts as 2 Hours of Prescribed credit toward your Site Safety Training (SST) card and is valid for 5 years from completion unless otherwise specified by the New York City Buildings Department.
